Spectators: 7621 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) 4 minutes into the match, Choctaw's Toby Whitlock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derek Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Burris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent Alfaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Edgardo Burris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Alfaro in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toby Whitlock in the 14th minute of play forced Olathe Falcons's goalkeeper Derek Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Walter Mixon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgardo Burris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Wilfredo Mayberry came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Choctaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Mayberry couldn't finish the play. If Rusty Fletcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Burris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent Alfaro in the 29th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Choctaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Lemons to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Josh Conroy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgardo Burris skillfully saved the ball. Edgardo Burris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shayne Rose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Donnie Stanford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Choctaw's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olathe Falcons the free kick. A collision led to Choctaw getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Donnie Stanford hit a great ball. Choctaw's Edgardo Burris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Alfaro in the 42nd minute of play. Derek Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toby Whitlock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wilfredo Mayberry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Morgan charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Morgan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute Toby Whitlock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derek Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Brent Alfaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olathe Falcons's supporters rose to their feet, but Brent Alfaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Burris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rusty Fletcher's late challenge caught a Choctaw's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rusty Fletcher helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Olathe Falcons got a freekick which was hit by Rusty Fletcher. A collision led to Olathe Falcons getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rusty Fletcher hit a great ball. Choctaw's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Brent Alfaro scored to the left of an out of position Edgardo Burris, making the score, 0-2. Brent Alfaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Santo Banning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brent Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
