Marshall Kimbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Edgardo Burris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marshall Kimbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. Comunicaciones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Choctaw the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Comunicaciones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Lentz to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Choctaw's goal looked a bit too open when Rico Delarosa came free, but Edgardo Burris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marshall Kimbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marshall Kimbrough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute Rico Delarosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Burris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Choctaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Collin Dickinson to maneuver through the defense. If Leonard Burt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marshall Kimbrough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Leonard Burt came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Comunicaciones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Burt couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nathan Morin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comunicaciones's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathan Morin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Burris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 48 minutes of play, Comunicaciones's Phillip Lentz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgardo Burris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marshall Kimbrough to make the kick off. Nathan Morin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Burris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Edgardo Burris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Burt, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Choctaw's zone, Phillip Lentz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Burris came out of the goal and Phillip Lentz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Burt struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Edgardo Burris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comunicaciones. Leonard Burt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Edgardo Burris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marshall Kimbrough struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Edgardo Burris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comunicaciones. When Comunicaciones's Leonard Burt in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Choctaw's goalie prevented a goal. Marshall Kimbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Edgardo Burris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Burris made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Marshall Kimbrough sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Leonard Burt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marshall Kimbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Banning's late challenge caught a Comunicaciones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Banning helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Santo Banning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Comunicaciones's Marshall Kimbrough got a free kick in the 77th minute. Toby Whitlock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gary Petty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gary Petty came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Choctaw's Wilfredo Mayberry. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Mayberry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 91 minutes into the match, Choctaw's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Burt came free, but Edgardo Burris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Burt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Edgardo Burris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Comunicaciones left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Choctaw.
