Isidro Kessler hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Wellford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Kessler came free, but Santos Thurman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Thurman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Kessler in the 22nd minute of the match. Santos Thurman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidro Kessler's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, Wellford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Powers to maneuver through the defense. Everett Beal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Thurman having to interfere. When Isidro Kessler came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Fair Oaks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Kessler couldn't finish the play. Isidro Kessler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Dudley Trujillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 minutes, Everett Beal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fair Oaks and the Wellford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fair Oaks's Lewis Healy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Levy in the 67th minute of play. Lewis Healy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rey Boston, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Dudley Trujillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Thurman having to interfere. Isidro Kessler in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santos Thurman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Santos Thurman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudley Trujillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Rey Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everett Beal kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match.
