After a defensive mix-up in Loomis's zone, Dennis Bradley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo Stringer came out of the goal and Dennis Bradley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Vamala F.C's goalkeeper Clay Escobar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricky Richey. After a defensive mix-up in Vamala F.C's zone, Ricky Richey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clay Escobar came out of the goal and Ricky Richey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Bradley in the 44th minute of play forced Loomis's goalkeeper Renaldo Stringer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Taylor Andersen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loomis's Renaldo Stringer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Bradley to make the kick off. Ricky Richey kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Vamala F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loomis the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vamala F.C's Vance Mattson got a free kick in the 70th minute.
