Marseill's Royce Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rey Boston in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Levy in the 13th minute of play forced Marseill's goalkeeper Royce Lugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Rey Boston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marseill's Royce Lugo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Eric Levy came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Wellford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Levy couldn't finish the play. Rey Boston succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Levy in the 30th minute of play forced Marseill's goalkeeper Royce Lugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Royce Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Levy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Wellford AFC were awarded a corner. Freddy Proctor went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Wellford AFC's corner Freddy Proctor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Royce Lugo quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denver Brewster during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marseill's Denver Brewster got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Wellford AFC's Rey Boston made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Royce Lugo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Marseill getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Daren Priest hit a great ball. Royce Lugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Levy in the 45th minute of the match. Salvatore Aldrich kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Wellford AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Casey Hensley missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 53 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Santos Thurman right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Wellford AFC's zone, Denver Brewster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Thurman came out of the goal and Denver Brewster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryan Powers hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Marseill's Salvatore Aldrich got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Marseill's Royce Lugo got control of the ball when Eric Levy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Royce Lugo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Levy in the 68th minute. Royce Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rey Boston, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Royce Lugo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryan Powers in the 91st minute. Denver Brewster kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With his leg Royce Lugo managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Wellford AFC's Eric Levy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Marseill supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wellford AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Wellford AFC.
