Milan Morton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gilbert Charles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacksonville's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Charles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milan Morton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Charles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milan Morton was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Jarrod Kirk's late challenge caught a Jacksonville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarrod Kirk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Florida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrod Kirk to maneuver through the defense. Florida AFC's Milan Morton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Charles in the 15th minute of play. Deshawn Schaefer was a little too slow when Colby Grubb got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. After 22 minutes of play, Florida AFC's Darell Hannah made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deshawn Schaefer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jacksonville's Gilbert Charles in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Florida AFC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrell Larkin in the 31st minute of play forced Florida AFC's goalkeeper Milan Morton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan Morton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Charles went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Colby Grubb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Colby Grubb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deshawn Schaefer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Louie Moyer from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Deshawn Schaefer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilbert Charles made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Charles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milan Morton was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Gilbert Charles in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Milan Morton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Charles went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Darrell Larkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilbert Charles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Milan Morton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Angelo Hollandsworth came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Jacksonville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Hollandsworth couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Wilbur Carroll sped through Jacksonville's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Deshawn Schaefer. In the 74th minute, Gilbert Charles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Milan Morton, passed just outside the right post. When Wilbur Carroll fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florida AFC's protests and gave Wilbur Carroll a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Florida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilbur Carroll to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Charles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milan Morton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Jacksonville's Gilbert Charles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Milan Morton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilbert Charles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Milan Morton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Gilbert Charles came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Jacksonville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Charles couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Jacksonville left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Florida AFC.
