Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) Tyler Holmes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 3 minutes, Douglass Minton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Dundee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglass Minton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Ned Warren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyler Holmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trey Young having to interfere. Ed Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Trey Young showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Holmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglass Minton in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renaldo Stringer saved Loomis from getting behind. Loomis's Renaldo Stringer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglass Minton in the 38th minute of play. When Douglass Minton came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the West Dundee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglass Minton couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, West Dundee's Ed Alfaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renaldo Stringer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. West Dundee's Jospeh Malone suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 44 minutes, Claudio Tovar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loomis and the West Dundee players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Loomis got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Tovar. In the 47th minute, Douglass Minton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglass Minton made a kick off. Douglass Minton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Douglass Minton was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. West Dundee's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Douglass Minton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Loomis's Renaldo Stringer got control of the ball when Ned Warren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taylor Mohr hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Douglass Minton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ned Warren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglass Mintons short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Renaldo Stringer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in West Dundee's zone, Tyler Holmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trey Young came out of the goal and Tyler Holmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, West Dundee's Douglass Minton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renaldo Stringer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Douglass Minton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ed Alfaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Renaldo Stringer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over West Dundee could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Loomis throughout the match.
