Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dennis Bradley took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Wadena FC's Marquis Tolbert got control of the ball when Taylor Andersen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Bradley in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquis Tolbert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mervin LeBlanc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taylor Andersen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Marquis Tolbert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Palmer Belanger fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wadena FC's protests and gave Palmer Belanger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Palmer Belanger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Stephen Blackman shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Wadena FC's Marquis Tolbert to catch but Stephen Blackman was lucky. It became 1-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Vamala F.C's Clay Escobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mervin LeBlanc in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Vance Mattson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vamala F.C's goalkeeper Clay Escobar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Mervin LeBlanc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clay Escobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mervin LeBlanc, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Clay Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Rodgers in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Vamala F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vance Mattson to maneuver through the defense. If Mervin LeBlanc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mervin LeBlanc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Clay Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Vance Mattson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vamala F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wadena FC the free kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Taylor Andersen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vamala F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taylor Andersen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clay Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Rodgers in the 72nd minute of the match. During the 73rd minute of the match Vance Mattson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vance Mattson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Vamala F.C's Vance Mattson got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vamala F.C's zone, Mervin LeBlanc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clay Escobar came out of the goal and Mervin LeBlanc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clay Escobar made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Mervin LeBlanc sent off a good shot on target. Wadena FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Seymour in the 93rd minute. Wadena FC's Benjamin Seymour was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Clay Escobar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Clay Escobar managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Wadena FC's Mervin LeBlanc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Wadena FC's Benjamin Seymour got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 97 played minutes, Vamala F.C's Stephen Blackman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marquis Tolbert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vamala F.C reached it. Vamala F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Wadena FC had controlled the match.
