Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sheldon Nichols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonzo Swenson having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Sheldon Nichols reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfonzo Swenson. The goal made the score 1-0. Winnetka's Alfonzo Swenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheldon Nichols in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winchester's goalkeeper Jerrod Patel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Adalberto Chin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winchester and the Winnetka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adalberto Chin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Derrick Bernard hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Sheldon Nichols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonzo Swenson having to interfere. Alfonzo Swenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sheldon Nichols in the 33rd minute of play. Jospeh Price could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Alfonzo Swenson made a huge save. Alfonzo Swenson made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jospeh Price sent off a good shot on target. Nolan Oakes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nolan Oakes might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerrod Patel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nolan Oakes ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Myles Driver made a kick off. In the 57th minute Jospeh Price shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonzo Swenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerrod Patel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myles Driver in the 58th minute of play. Jerrod Patel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nolan Oakes in the 61st minute. Alfonzo Swenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sheldon Nichols in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Cary Lofton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winnetka and the Winchester players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Winnetka got a freekick which was hit by Cary Lofton. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jospeh Price managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winchester's supporters rose to their feet, but Jospeh Price was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonzo Swenson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonzo Swenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sheldon Nichols, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sheldon Nichols came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Winchester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sheldon Nichols couldn't finish the play. Nolan Oakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Patel having to interfere. When Ron Mallory fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winchester's protests and gave Ron Mallory a yellow card for diving instead. Alfonzo Swenson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jospeh Price in the 76th minute of the match. Jospeh Price struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alfonzo Swenson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winchester. Sheldon Nichols recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicky Kerr hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Winnetka players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Winchester.
