Spectators: 7915 (Terracing: 5997, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 80) West Town Plot's Timothy Dale started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, one of West Town Plot:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for West De Land. Hugh Gutierrez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Colby Sams. 0-1. Timothy Dale struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rolland Emerson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Town Plot. Rolland Emerson made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Loren Lanier sent off a good shot on target. If Timothy Dale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Ryan Dupree made a precise shot to the right of Colby Sams. West Town Plot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rolland Emerson was a little too slow when Salvador Trimble got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-2. Colby Sams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from DeMarcus Hester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Salvador Trimble took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolland Emerson. Rolland Emerson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 59 played minutes West Town Plot got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Melendez. After a defensive mix-up in West Town Plot's zone, Hugh Gutierrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Colby Sams came out of the goal and Hugh Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DeMarcus Hester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Colby Sams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Trimble took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolland Emerson. Rolland Emerson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Rolland Emerson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy Dale in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling DeMarcus Hester in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colby Sams prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 played minutes West Town Plot got a freekick which was hit by Hayden Tate. After 92 minutes of play, West De Land's Ryan Dupree made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colby Sams was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, West De Land's DeMarcus Hester sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colby Sams narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that West Town Plot were the better team. West Town Plot's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
