Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 50) Winchester's Sheldon Nichols started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Wilmer Hawthorne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Terry Burks came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Mini Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Burks couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Winchester booed when Mini Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shannon Whitley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sheldon Nichols struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Pavel Cartiș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winchester. 13 minutes into the match, Winchester's goalkeeper Jerrod Patel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Terry Burks. Jerrod Patel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlton Dykes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jospeh Price in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavel Cartiș saved Mini Club from getting behind. Pavel Cartiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jospeh Price in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Mini Club booed when Winchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Mallory didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Cartiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jospeh Price in the 44th minute of play. Ronnie Dodge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlton Dykes to make the kick off. If Terry Burks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Winchester's Sheldon Nichols got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilmer Hawthorne hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Terry Burks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlton Dykes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Patel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Winchester's Samuel Tracy got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute, Sheldon Nichols got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Terry Burks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mini Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 87 minutes into the match, Mini Club's goalkeeper Pavel Cartiș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jospeh Price. Nick Long might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavel Cartiș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nick Long ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, Jospeh Price got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Winchester players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mini Club.
