Jerrod Patel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrad Madison in the 3rd minute. Duke Holden came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Winchester's Sheldon Nichols. But to his dismay, Sheldon Nichols quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Robby Sharp fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muppet XI's protests and gave Robby Sharp a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Muppet XI getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Robby Sharp hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Sheldon Nichols managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winchester's supporters rose to their feet, but Sheldon Nichols was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duke Holden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvis Cohen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Jospeh Price left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winchester fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 19th minute, Conrad Madison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerrod Patel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Duke Holden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sheldon Nichols in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Roberto Suggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muppet XI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winchester the free kick. The supporters of Winchester booed when Muppet XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Suggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sheldon Nichols struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Duke Holden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winchester. If Sheldon Nichols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute Jospeh Price shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duke Holden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Muppet XI's goal looked a bit too open when Sheldon Nichols came free, but Duke Holden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duke Holden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sheldon Nichols went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Conrad Madison struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jerrod Patel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muppet XI. Winchester were furious when Nicky Kerr was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Winchester fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Robby Sharp walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jospeh Price made the kick off in the second half. Jospeh Price fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duke Holden having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Jonas Mathews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muppet XI's Duke Holden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Muppet XI from getting a goal against them. After 71 minutes of play, Winchester's Jospeh Price made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duke Holden was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jerrod Patel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrad Madison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes of play, Winchester's Jospeh Price made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duke Holden was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Robby Sharp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muppet XI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6.
