Spectators: 7911 (Terracing: 5994, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 80) West Town Plot's Colby Sams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enoch Akins in the 3rd minute of play. Colby Sams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Dill, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Edgar Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Loren Lanier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Kauffman. Port Vale FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loren Lanier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 16 minutes of play, Port Vale FC's Casey Dill made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colby Sams was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timothy Dale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Anton Kauffman made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, West Town Plot's Timothy Dale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Kauffman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anton Kauffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Trimble in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Salvador Trimble tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anton Kauffman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Timothy Dales short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Anton Kauffman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 33rd minute Casey Dill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colby Sams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, West Town Plot's Matt Thurston got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Dill in the 39th minute of play forced West Town Plot's goalkeeper Colby Sams to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Timothy Dale managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Town Plot's supporters rose to their feet, but Timothy Dale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Kauffman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 minutes of play, Port Vale FC's Casey Dill made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colby Sams was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Port Vale FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casey Dill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Casey Dill reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Colby Sams. The goal made the score 1-3. A collision led to West Town Plot getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jarod Hester hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Timothy Dale managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Town Plot's supporters rose to their feet, but Timothy Dale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Kauffman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernest Platt hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Anton Kauffman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Trimble in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Port Vale FC's Enoch Akins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Colby Sams. That made the score 1-4 after 67 minutes of play. Timothy Dale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Kauffman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Port Vale FC booed when West Town Plot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Thompson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eldon Kennedy's late challenge caught a Port Vale FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eldon Kennedy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Port Vale FC booed when West Town Plot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eldon Kennedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Timothy Dale put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Anton Kauffman. Jarod Hester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Port Vale FC's Casey Dill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Colby Sams. That made the score 2-5 after 88 minutes of play. Colby Sams made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merle Scott in the 94th minute. Leland Ambrose took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Colby Sams. West Town Plot's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Port Vale FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
