Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rickie Love kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Rickie Love got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th match minute, Winnetka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cary Lofton to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cary Lofton in the 10th minute. Cary Lofton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ediberto Messias made a huge save. Winnetka's Alfonzo Swenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickie Love in the 14th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Winnetka's Myles Driver slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ediberto Messias. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 19th minute, Winnetka's Gerald Ferrell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ediberto Messias. Ediberto Messias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 26thth minute of the game Rickie Love who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winnetka's Alfonzo Swenson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Rickie Love shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonzo Swenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Winnetka's goal looked a bit too open when Rickie Love came free, but Alfonzo Swenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Winnetka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Ferrell to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Billy Reeves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Holmes Beach's zone, Myles Driver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ediberto Messias came out of the goal and Myles Driver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Holmes Beach getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Warren Priest hit a great ball. Ediberto Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myles Driver, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Myles Driver was the one to do the kick off. Ediberto Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Oakes in the 54th minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Nolan Oakes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holmes Beach's Ediberto Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfonzo Swenson made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Rickie Love sent off a good shot on target. Rickie Love's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfonzo Swenson firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 62 minutes, Rickie Love made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Winnetka's Alfonzo Swenson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th match minute, Holmes Beach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Spivey to maneuver through the defense. Rickie Love recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Winnetka's Willis Stinson got a free kick in the 71st minute. Rickie Love who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Alfonzo Swenson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Dennis Spivey was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. Dennis Spivey kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ediberto Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myles Driver, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Alfonzo Swenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Reeves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Reeves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonzo Swenson having to interfere. Cary Lofton hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Holmes Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Nolan Oakes came free, but Ediberto Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Cullen's late challenge caught a Winnetka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bill Cullen helped the player get up and apologised. Wade Covington hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Billy Reeves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Winnetka's zone, Billy Reeves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonzo Swenson came out of the goal and Billy Reeves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Winnetka's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
