The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrad Madison got free with Flint Burks in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flint Burks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Suggs in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Colonia's D.J. Roland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duke Holden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Colonia's goalkeeper Flint Burks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robby Sharp. A sloppy throw-in by Sandy Broussard in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Muppet XI's Hunter Bermudez. If Jamar Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colonia's Flint Burks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Colonia from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Muppet XI's Val Landreth got a free kick in the 29th minute. Wally Aaron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duke Holden. Muppet XI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Duke Holden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Jacobs, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, Muppet XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robby Sharp to maneuver through the defense. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when D.J. Roland made the kick off in the second half. Val Landreth hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamar Ingram in the 56th minute of play forced Colonia's goalkeeper Flint Burks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flint Burks came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Muppet XI's Conrad Madison. But to his dismay, Conrad Madison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Tad Crusher made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 75thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Duke Holden would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Duke Holden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from D.J. Roland in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Jamar Ingram was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muppet XI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colonia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Muppet XI's Jamar Ingram got a free kick in the 78th minute. Flint Burks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrad Madison, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Jamar Ingram ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flint Burks was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Jamar Ingram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flint Burks having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Conrad Madison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flint Burks was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Flint Burks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Sharp in the 90th minute of play. Duke Holden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Foote, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Jamar Ingram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flint Burks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamar Ingram received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Flint Burks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Muppet XI had won after a very even match.
