Spectators: 7517 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1857, VIP seats: 160) Cypress's Jose Longoria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stacey Montano in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Hermes got free with Jose Longoria in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berat Taybars lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 19 played minutes Avra Valley got a freekick which was hit by Russ Braden. Jose Longoria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Montano in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cypress defense, Yuri Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Longoria. The Cypress fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Longoria should have stopped the shot. After 31 played minutes Avra Valley got a freekick which was hit by Ray Whitney. After 33 played minutes Cypress got a freekick which was hit by Raymundo Haas. 35 minutes into the match, Cypress's goalkeeper Jose Longoria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuri Hermes. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Stacey Montano took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jose Longoria to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chu Mo Yong was the one to do the kick off. Jose Longoria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stacey Montano went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jose Longoria came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Avra Valley's Yuri Hermes. But to his dismay, Yuri Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Avra Valley's Eleuterio Arias was substituted for Stacey Montano. Jose Longoria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Arias in the 61st minute of play forced Cypress's goalkeeper Jose Longoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cypress's Jose Longoria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Hermes in the 66th minute of play. Cypress's Gerardo Daley managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elijah Parr in the 68 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Arias in the 69th minute of play forced Cypress's goalkeeper Jose Longoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jose Longoria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chu Mo Yong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Yuri Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Longoria was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 79th minute, Eleuterio Arias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avra Valley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Jose Longoria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Arias in the 89th minute of play forced Cypress's goalkeeper Jose Longoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Avra Valley's Werner Atkinson made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Longoria was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cypress getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Eelco ter Averst hit a great ball. Avra Valley's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
