Arnold Brady kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Damon Newsome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damon Newsome in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Charlie Herget, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dante Castillo De Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brookside's Harry Hopper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Castillo De Reyes in the 19th minute of play. Harry Hopper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Newman, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Dante Castillo De Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Las Vegas Hawks's Ferdinand Newman in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brookside's goalie prevented a goal. Daryl Knutson's late challenge caught a Brookside's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daryl Knutson helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the game, Brookside's Joey Doud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charlie Herget made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 31st match minute, Brookside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Conroy to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Brookside's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Newman came free, but Harry Hopper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Newman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Harry Hopper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ferdinand Newman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Las Vegas Hawks's zone, Joey Doud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Herget came out of the goal and Joey Doud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joey Doud to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Las Vegas Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dallas Amos to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute Damon Newsome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Herget saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Hopper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Castillo De Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joey Doud kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Dante Castillo De Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Al Durham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Vegas Hawks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brookside the free kick. After 67 minutes of play Las Vegas Hawks's Al Durham was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Las Vegas Hawks getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Al Durham hit a great ball. Joey Doud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Ferdinand Newman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Brookside's Harry Hopper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Brookside from getting a goal against them. Charlie Herget showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Doud in the 81st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damon Newsome during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Damon Newsome hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Joey Doud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Las Vegas Hawks's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Newsome came free, but Charlie Herget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joey Doud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charlie Herget read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Hunter Langston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Vegas Hawks and the Brookside players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Damon Newsome came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Brookside fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damon Newsome couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Las Vegas Hawks had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
