Donnie Ragland scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zachery Ayers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 2-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Donnie Ragland elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A hard shot 20 in the game by Eric Fisher from a close distance when the talented Zachery Ayers managed to make a qualified save. Retamoso FC's players were relieved. DeAndre Brantley's late challenge caught a Black Sails FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. DeAndre Brantley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Retamoso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by DeAndre Brantley to maneuver through the defense. Zachery Ayers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donnie Ragland in the 24th minute of the match. A hard shot 27 in the game by Eric Fisher from a close distance when the talented Zachery Ayers managed to make a qualified save. Retamoso FC's players were relieved. 29 minutes into the game, Donnie Ragland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zachery Ayers. Donnie Ragland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 31st minute of the match, Eric Fisher got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zachery Ayers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Retamoso FC's goalkeeper Zachery Ayers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Fisher. Eric Fisher's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Zachery Ayers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eric Fisher had several of the Retamoso FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Zachery Ayers as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Donnie Ragland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachery Ayers was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Retamoso FC's Zachery Ayers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Retamoso FC from getting a goal against them. Eric Fisher who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Zachery Ayers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 47th minute of the game, Gordon Justice landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob Tinsley during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Black Sails FC made a substitution. Ed Hill replaced Gordon Justice. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 50th minute Matthew Byrd saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerrod Crabtree was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Eric Fisher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Retamoso FC's Zachery Ayers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zachery Ayers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Fisher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Black Sails FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terence Thurston to maneuver through the defense. Zachery Ayers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donnie Ragland's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Donnie Ragland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachery Ayers was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Craig Velazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bob Tinsley in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Eric Fisher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachery Ayers was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. A collision led to Retamoso FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lance Shepard hit a great ball. If Eric Fisher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Black Sails FC had played much better football throughout.
