Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cypress's Roger Bonds started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Chu Mo Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo McDonough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Bonds in the 6th minute of play forced Pana FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo McDonough came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cypress's Roger Bonds. But to his dismay, Roger Bonds quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cobi Fink lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Pana FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cypress:s goal. 28 minutes into the game, Berat Taybars cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lorenzo McDonough was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo McDonough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chu Mo Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pana FC's Lorenzo McDonough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eelco ter Averst in the 41st minute of play.

The wind increased when Todd Yarbrough made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Chu Mo Yong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cypress fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Pana FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Roger Bonds scored to the left of an out of position Lorenzo McDonough, making the score, 0-4. Cypress were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Pana FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Berat Taybars took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Roger Bonds got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-5. 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Pana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todd Yarbrough to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Cypress's Gerardo Daley shot a high long ball. Pana FC's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. Monty Bryson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Todd Yarbrough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Longoria having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Roger Bonds had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo McDonough. Pana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Bonds was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After 82 played minutes Pana FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Galvan. Cesar Sherrill kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Bonds got free with Lorenzo McDonough in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Pana FC defense, Roger Bonds kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo McDonough. The Pana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo McDonough should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Raymundo Haas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Yarbrough in the 95th minute of play forced Cypress's goalkeeper Jose Longoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cypress's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
