Las Vegas Hawks's Charlie Herget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chu Mo Yong in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chu Mo Yong in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charlie Herget prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Longoria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roger Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Charlie Herget tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charlie Herget was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Chu Mo Yong capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chu Mo Yong really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Roger Bonds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Herget having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Newman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Longoria was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Bonds stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chu Mo Yong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlie Herget stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Bonds's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Cypress's Roger Bonds nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charlie Herget made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Charlie Herget didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cypress's Roger Bonds shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Lincoln Herbert kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Eelco ter Averst hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Roger Bonds sped through Las Vegas Hawks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charlie Herget. In the 78th minute, Chu Mo Yong made a precise shot to the right of Charlie Herget. Las Vegas Hawks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Chu Mo Yong charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chu Mo Yong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chu Mo Yong kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Charlie Herget made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chu Mo Yong in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cypress's Raymundo Haas got a free kick in the 90th minute. Roger Bonds got in the 93rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Charlie Herget handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Las Vegas Hawks's goal looked a bit too open when Lincoln Herbert came free, but Charlie Herget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Cypress players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
