Charlie Valentin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Black Sails FC were furious when Dominique Polk was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Black Sails FC! Foster Henley shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Tony Hammer kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Donnie Ragland took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charlie Valentin. Charlie Valentin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 27 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Donnie Ragland came free, but Charlie Valentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Bryant got free with Craig Velazquez in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Black Sails FC's goalkeeper Craig Velazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Bryant. Gerard Robbins charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerard Robbins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerard Robbins hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Donnie Ragland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Valentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jimmy Barnard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donnie Ragland to strike the kick off in the second half. Charlie Valentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donnie Ragland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hunter Purvis hit a great ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Donnie Ragland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Sails FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donnie Ragland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Donnie Ragland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Valentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Donnie Ragland came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Black Sails FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donnie Ragland couldn't finish the play. Jimmy Barnard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Valentin having to interfere. Donnie Ragland struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Charlie Valentin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Sails FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Barnard in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charlie Valentin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimmy Barnard scored 0-5 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charlie Valentin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charlie Valentin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donnie Ragland's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 85th match minute, Black Sails FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terence Thurston to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Black Sails FC booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willard Izturis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donnie Ragland in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charlie Valentin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Black Sails FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manchester United.
