Vice Croydon AFC's Mark Watt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Atkinson in the 13th minute of play. Vice Croydon AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Yuri Hermes scored to the left of an out of position Mark Watt, making the score, 2-0. After 22 played minutes Avra Valley got a freekick which was hit by Charlie McGinnis. Jess Hinkle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waylon Paris having to interfere. Charlie McGinnis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Avra Valley getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Werner Atkinson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Hermes got free with Mark Watt in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vice Croydon AFC's Mark Watt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stacey Montano in the 38th minute of play. Avra Valley's Waylon Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Patrick in the 40th minute of play. Yuri Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Mark Watt made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Yuri Hermes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Yuri Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Watt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Montano in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Yuri Hermes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vice Croydon AFC's Mark Watt. Mark Watt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Avra Valley's Eleuterio Arias was substituted for Stacey Montano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Werner Atkinson in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Watt saved Vice Croydon AFC from getting behind. After 62 minutes, Werner Atkinson made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vice Croydon AFC's Mark Watt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Werner Atkinson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Mark Watt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Yuri Hermes made a precise shot to the right of Mark Watt. Vice Croydon AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Lane Johns fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avra Valley's protests and gave Lane Johns a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Lane Johns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Werner Atkinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Watt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jess Hinkle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waylon Paris came out and tried to block the shot, but Jess Hinkle slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 76th minute. After 85 minutes, Kurt Esposito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vice Croydon AFC and the Avra Valley players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Vice Croydon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Esposito to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Yuri Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Watt was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Avra Valley fully deserved thier win.
