Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Corley started the match with the kick off. Wilfred Starnes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Merrill Redding stood somewhat misplaced when Rory Bryant came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. After a defensive mix-up in SCU Torreense's zone, Ben Lunsford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Engel came out of the goal and Ben Lunsford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merrill Redding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory Bryant, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Jonathan Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocasset Light's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Corley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Jonathan Corley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pocasset Light fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Jonathan Corley put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Claudio Engel. A collision led to Pocasset Light getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alex Ford hit a great ball. When Solomon London came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SCU Torreense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Solomon London couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Corley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Engel having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Carlos Webber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocasset Light's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Webber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Jonathan Corley made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Engel. SCU Torreense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. A collision led to Pocasset Light getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alex Ford hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, SCU Torreense's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Corley came free, but Claudio Engel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Pocasset Light's goalkeeper Merrill Redding had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flint Corley. If Jonathan Corley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Pocasset Light were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rory Bryant made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, SCU Torreense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zackary Paquette to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SCU Torreense's zone, Roger Connors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Engel came out of the goal and Roger Connors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merrill Redding didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SCU Torreense's Flint Corley shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Ben Lunsford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Engel having to interfere. Timothy Rooney hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Jonathan Corley sped through SCU Torreense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudio Engel. A hard shot 81 in the game by Jonathan Corley from a close distance when the talented Claudio Engel managed to make a qualified save. SCU Torreense's players were relieved. Ben Lunsford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Corley struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Claudio Engel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocasset Light. SCU Torreense's Rory Bryant got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Ford during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alex Ford kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Pocasset Light played a much better game than SCU Torreense and deserved their victory. The SCU Torreense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
