Tommie Boston took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilford Mott. Wilford Mott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wilfred Arnold kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Tommie Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacksonville boose's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Rashad Starks scored to the left of an out of position Sanford Reynolds, making the score, 1-2. Brendon Emery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilford Mott having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, one of Jacksonville boose:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Miles Connors had several of the Jacksonville boose's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Sanford Reynolds as he didn't even see the shot coming. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommie Boston was the one to do the kick off. Tommie Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute Tommie Boston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilford Mott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
