Merrill Redding came out of the goal and Wesley Britton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pocasset Light getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Carlos Webber hit a great ball. Merrill Redding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Britton, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Wesley Britton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albania FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pocasset Light's Merrill Redding played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Britton in the 10th minute of play. Merrill Redding showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmitt Khan in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Emmitt Khan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merrill Redding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, Deon Lang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albania FC and the Pocasset Light players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Albania FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Deon Lang hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Pocasset Light's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Egoitz came free, but Merrill Redding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th play minute Jonathan Corley came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Enrico Di Florio. 1-1. Ben Lunsford charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Lunsford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Webber's late challenge caught a Albania FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Webber helped the player get up and apologised. Albania FC's Terrell Lyons was substituted for Emmitt Khan. In the 77th match minute, Pocasset Light was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Webber to maneuver through the defense. Ben Lunsford kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Roger Connors with Ben Lunsford as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 88 played minutes Albania FC got a freekick which was hit by Terrell Lyons. 91 minutes into the game, Maximino Egoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albania FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocasset Light the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Albania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Corley in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrico Di Florio saved Albania FC from getting behind. Albania FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
