A very good chance. Rolando Callahan struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Hugo Swift didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Angeles F.C. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles F.C's Mitchell Starr got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th match minute, Barcelona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymundo Stubbs to maneuver through the defense. Keith Duffy hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Barcelona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Callahan came free, but Hugo Swift reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keith Duffy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Hugo Swift made a huge save. In the 27th minute Raymundo Stubbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristopher Munson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Mitchell Starr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Angeles F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Mitchell Starr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Swift breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keith Duffy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Rolando Callahan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Swift. Barcelona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolando Callahan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rolando Callahan had several of the Barcelona FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Hugo Swift as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Hugo Swift managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Los Angeles F.C's Rolando Callahan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hugo Swift made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Quinton Webber sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute Mitchell Starr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Swift saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymundo Stubbs to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Raymundo Stubbs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Angeles F.C the free kick. Raymundo Stubbs kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Rolando Callahan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona FC's Hugo Swift was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anthony Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Barcelona FC's Raymundo Stubbs got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Swift took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Callahan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Barcelona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymundo Stubbs to maneuver through the defense. Barcelona FC's J.C. Lay managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christian Magee in the 81 minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Shannon Major hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Angeles F.C fully deserved thier win.
