Charlie Marion hit a great ball. Gustavo Gore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymundo Stubbs, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Raymundo Stubbs's late challenge caught a Wayne Winners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymundo Stubbs helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Barcelona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymundo Stubbs to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Veloso in the 38th minute of play forced Barcelona FC's goalkeeper Hugo Swift to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
