Gustavo Gore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocasset Light. Pocasset Light's Jonathan Corley got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Gore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Corley, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Alex Ford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocasset Light's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Ford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Gore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Corley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pocasset Light's Jonathan Corley in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wayne Winners's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Corley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gustavo Gore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Wayne Winners players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pocasset Light were winning 0-2.

When Jonathan Corley fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pocasset Light's protests and gave Jonathan Corley a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pocasset Light's Jonathan Corley got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Veloso in the 53rd minute of play forced Pocasset Light's goalkeeper Merrill Redding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Wayne Winners's Reuben Sargent got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Reuben Sargent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merrill Redding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Abreu in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Riley Hutchinson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Merrill Redding showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Merrill Redding. Pocasset Light's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 72nd minute Justo Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merrill Redding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 played minutes Wayne Winners got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Sargent. After 74 minutes, Jonathan Corley made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Wayne Winners's Gustavo Gore tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Justo Veloso scored 2-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Merrill Redding, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leland Ng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Gore having to interfere. Jonathan Corleys short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Gustavo Gore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 92 minutes, Jonathan Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocasset Light's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Corley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Pocasset Light left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wayne Winners.
