No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Derek Cleveland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chris Beal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clayton Vazquez's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Erma's Derek Cleveland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bronson Fitzgerald. That made the score 1-1 after 67 minutes of play. In the 93rd minute, Josiah Phelps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Erma players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
