Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dane Fulton started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Dane Fulton took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ivan Oberle to make any attempt to save it. After 7 played minutes Mendenhall FC got a freekick which was hit by Bret Nickerson. Mendenhall FC's Ivan Oberle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mendenhall FC from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Mendenhall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dane Fulton came free, but Ivan Oberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Murphy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Ivan Oberle made a huge save. Ivan Oberle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Doss in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes, Marlon Koenig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mendenhall FC and the Olivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marlon Koenig kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Fabian Murphy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Oberle firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Olivia booed when Mendenhall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bret Nickerson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Dane Fulton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Oberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marlon Koenig was the one to do the kick off. Ivan Oberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Doss in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Olivia's Dane Fulton made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Oberle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dane Fulton scored 5-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Oberle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Fabian Murphy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Oberle. Mendenhall FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Murphy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 70th match minute, Mendenhall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shane Haynes to maneuver through the defense. Tanner Baltazar had several of the Olivia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-1 score and a disappointed Romeo Ramos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ivan Oberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dane Fulton in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Mendenhall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Doss came free, but Ivan Oberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mendenhall FC defense, Victor Doss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Oberle. The Mendenhall FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Oberle should have stopped the shot. Tanner Baltazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Romeo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
