Raritan's Shayne Witherspoon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Raritan from getting a goal against them. Palmer Cole kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, Raritan's Shayne Witherspoon got control of the ball when Marty Cegielski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee ignored Monessen's protests and gave Billy Campbell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, one of Monessen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Monessen. The goalkeeper, Tyrone Darling, was totally fooled by Raritan's Boyd Santana, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lazaro Ellison was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 100 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute, one of Raritan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Raritan. The referee gave Monessen a penalty, 103 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marty Cegielski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Raritan's Shayne Witherspoon. 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Monessen fully deserved thier win.
