Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the game, Cameron McCabe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. In the 14th minute Elliott Vilter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shayne Witherspoon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cameron McCabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shayne Witherspoon having to interfere. Cameron McCabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Shayne Witherspoon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Theo Gallegos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 minutes, Elliott Vilter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Angeles FC and the Raritan players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Zane Irvin came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Raritan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zane Irvin couldn't finish the play. Darius Burnham struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Shayne Witherspoon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Angeles FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Palmer Cole made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Noah Reece however managed to control. In the 59th match minute, Raritan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Shields to maneuver through the defense. Cameron McCabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Raritan reached it. In the 76th minute, Boyd Santana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jayson Faulkner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 86 minutes of play, Raritan's Noah Reece made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jayson Faulkner was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Boyd Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Raritan's Noah Reece nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jayson Faulkner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
