Jayson Faulkner came out of the goal and Tanner Baltazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Angeles FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mendenhall FC had won, even though Los Angeles FC had held more of the ball.
