With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nathanial Sutherland in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dane Fraser saved Montesa de Lugo from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nathanial Sutherland to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Nathanial Sutherland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahce SK and the Montesa de Lugo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dane Fraser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathanial Sutherland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ervin Lowry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dane Fraser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dane Fraser was a little too slow when Nathanial Sutherland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Montesa de Lugo's zone, Art Vaughan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dane Fraser came out of the goal and Art Vaughan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nathanial Sutherland's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Dane Fraser skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 77th minute, Romeo Howard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dane Fraser was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Alfredo Quinn might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Avalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Quinn ran back to his position shaking his head. If Phillip Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
