The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brandon Martin during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Houlton booed when East Millcreek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Marquis Otto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Warner Weeks was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Marquis Otto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Warner Weeks was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Blake Aguilar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Warner Weeks firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Houlton's Warner Weeks got control of the ball when Marquis Otto tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Houlton getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Silas Corbett hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes East Millcreek FC got a freekick which was hit by Brant McGowan. Jamal Cramer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. East Millcreek FC's Troy Hutchins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Corbett in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, East Millcreek FC's Brandon Martin got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 32 minutes, Silas Corbett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Houlton and the East Millcreek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silas Corbett hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Blake Aguilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warner Weeks having to interfere. Warner Weeks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blake Aguilar in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Houlton defense, Blake Aguilar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Warner Weeks. The Houlton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Warner Weeks should have stopped the shot. Brant McGowan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Warner Weeks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Houlton getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alfredo Cruz hit a great ball. In the 66th match minute, Houlton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Houlton's zone, Blake Aguilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warner Weeks came out of the goal and Blake Aguilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Alfredo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blake Aguilar took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Warner Weeks. Warner Weeks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Troy Hutchins made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Wyatt Elliott sent off a good shot on target. East Millcreek FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Houlton for a fine match.
