Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lawrence Fitzpatrick started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bad Axe's Quinn Jackson managed to work through Lancaster FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Quinn Jackson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 13th minute Quinn Jackson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Vilter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bad Axe booed when Lancaster FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Travis Jimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adalberto Rector hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Wilton Vilter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinn Jackson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominique Turner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Wilton Vilter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lancaster FC's Wilton Vilter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinn Jackson in the 30th minute of play. Lawrence Fitzpatrick's late challenge caught a Bad Axe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lawrence Fitzpatrick helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute Lawrence Fitzpatrick managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The audience was convinced that Henry Pepper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilton Vilter was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Bret Yates's late challenge caught a Bad Axe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bret Yates helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lancaster FC! Timmy Dunham placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Quinn Jackson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Quinn Jackson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilton Vilter was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quinn Jackson to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lancaster FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lawrence Fitzpatrick hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Hal Sizemore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quinn Jackson came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilton Vilter could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Lancaster FC's Lawrence Fitzpatrick got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Lancaster FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hal Sizemore to maneuver through the defense. Bad Axe's Darren Randle was substituted for Dominique Turner. When Darren Randle fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bad Axe's protests and gave Darren Randle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Bad Axe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darren Randle to maneuver through the defense. Danial Pollard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Vilter having to interfere. With a little luck, Lancaster FC's Wilton Vilter got control of the ball when Quinn Jackson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Quinn Jackson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barry Holden kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Lawrence Fitzpatrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Vilter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Pepper in the 90th minute of the match. Arturo Hill came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Lancaster FC's Lawrence Fitzpatrick. But to his dismay, Lawrence Fitzpatrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Quinn Jackson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Wilton Vilter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lancaster FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bad Axe for a fine match.
