In the 25thth minute of the game Henry Pepper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Millcreek FC's Troy Hutchins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquis Otto in the 28th minute of play forced Bad Axe's goalkeeper Arturo Hill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bad Axe's Arturo Hill proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Bad Axe from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bad Axe's Danial Pollard got a free kick in the 40th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blake Aguilar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to East Millcreek FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Blake Aguilar hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The East Millcreek FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bad Axe had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
