Spectators: 7948 (Terracing: 5962, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Quinn started the match with the kick off. Montesa de Lugo's Alfredo Quinn got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Peachey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dane Fraser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Tyrell Cerna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesa de Lugo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Amherst FC the free kick. The supporters of North Amherst FC booed when Montesa de Lugo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrell Cerna didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Quinn in the 15th minute of play forced North Amherst FC's goalkeeper Allan Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Quinn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Allan Andrade skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stanton Sneed lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Stanton Sneed kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. North Amherst FC's Douglass Coulter got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Peachey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dane Fraser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Harding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montesa de Lugo's goalkeeper Dane Fraser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stephan Horner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, North Amherst FC's Morgan Fortune got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Elton Rowan came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Montesa de Lugo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elton Rowan couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Stephan Horner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montesa de Lugo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stephan Horner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Peachey was the one to do the kick off. North Amherst FC's Allan Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phillip Benitez in the 52nd minute of play. Dane Fraser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Eckert in the 59th minute of play. Dane Fraser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Eckert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dane Fraser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Peachey, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in North Amherst FC's zone, Stephan Horner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Andrade came out of the goal and Stephan Horner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th match minute, North Amherst FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wally Brand to maneuver through the defense. North Amherst FC's Allan Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phillip Benitez in the 84th minute of play. When Montesa de Lugo's Tyrell Cerna in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Amherst FC's goalie prevented a goal. Montesa de Lugo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
