Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Harker Heights FC's Shawn Crowell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Chris Cahill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goofyland Big-Birds's goalkeeper Sonny Herrera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darren Dunbar in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Dutton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilfredo Dutton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darren Dunbar's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Julian Burrell hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Bennett Storey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonny Herrera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. When Chris Cahill fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goofyland Big-Birds's protests and gave Chris Cahill a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Goofyland Big-Birds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Cahill to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Ernest Osborne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilfredo Dutton. The goal made the score 1-0. When Chris Cahill came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Goofyland Big-Birds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Cahill couldn't finish the play. After 41 played minutes Goofyland Big-Birds got a freekick which was hit by Hugh Person. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darren Dunbar to strike the kick off in the second half. Shawn Crowell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Goofyland Big-Birds's Diego Nesbitt got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Chris Cahill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goofyland Big-Birds's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Cahill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Dutton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 played minutes Goofyland Big-Birds got a freekick which was hit by Julian Burrell. Shawn Crowell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sonny Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Osborne in the 77th minute of play forced Harker Heights FC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Dutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darren Dunbar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wilfredo Dutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harker Heights FC's Wilfredo Dutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Dunbar in the 88th minute of play. Ernest Osborne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Goofyland Big-Birds players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
