Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Blake Aguilar made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Blake Aguilar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Todd Welsh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 6 minutes into the match, Blake Aguilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Todd Welsh. Redford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blake Aguilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, East Millcreek FC's Troy Hutchins got control of the ball when Cary Allen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Todd Welsh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blake Aguilar in the 17th minute of the match. When Darryl Nguyen fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored East Millcreek FC's protests and gave Darryl Nguyen a yellow card for diving instead. Todd Welsh came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by East Millcreek FC's Blake Aguilar. But to his dismay, Blake Aguilar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Thanks to some nice moves Cary Allen could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Troy Hutchins however easily saved by the left post. Cary Allen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Troy Hutchins came out and tried to block the shot, but Cary Allen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 37th minute. Brant McGowan scored 1-5 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Todd Welsh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th match minute, Redford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lee Villa to maneuver through the defense. After 46 minutes of play, East Millcreek FC's Blake Aguilar made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Todd Welsh was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half East Millcreek FC were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cary Allen made a kick off. Cary Allen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Troy Hutchins having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cary Allen in the 56th minute of play forced East Millcreek FC's goalkeeper Troy Hutchins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Blake Aguilar rounded Redford's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. Redford's Merlin Cermak suffered a sore foot after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stan Bowling during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Stan Bowling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Cary Allen notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of East Millcreek FC's Troy Hutchins. Troy Hutchins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. East Millcreek FC's Vincenzo Cooper was substituted for Edgar Paul. East Millcreek FC were furious when Timothy Goldberg was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Redford's Todd Welsh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Nguyen in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Redford's zone, Blake Aguilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Todd Welsh came out of the goal and Blake Aguilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Todd Welsh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brant McGowan in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as East Millcreek FC's Blake Aguilar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Todd Welsh. That made the score 3-8 after 96 minutes of play. East Millcreek FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
