Spectators: 7966 (Terracing: 6028, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 90) New Iberia AFC's Felipe Coulter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Glen Lefler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrell Curran having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Glen Lefler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Darrell Curran, 1-0. Felipe Coulter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Darrell Curran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Glen Lefler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Darrell Curran came out and tried to block the shot, but Glen Lefler slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Bartonville's goalkeeper Darrell Curran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Coulter. In the 20th minute, Felipe Coulter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Iberia AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daren Cavazos during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute of the match Lazaro Ruth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Remicio skillfully saved the ball. Darrell Curran made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Felipe Coulter sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Remicio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazaro Ruth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bartonville booed when New Iberia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ken Denne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, New Iberia AFC's Glen Lefler ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Darrell Curran. Darrell Curran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Wendell Whitfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Remicio having to interfere. With an all-out effort, New Iberia AFC's Darrell Curran threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Glen Lefler, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Glen Lefler took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Darrell Curran to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Glen Lefler managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Iberia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Glen Lefler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darrell Curran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darrell Curran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Coulter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 47 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lazaro Ruth was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Glen Lefler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrell Curran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glen Lefler took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darrell Curran. Darrell Curran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. A collision led to New Iberia AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Roy Garrison hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Glen Lefler managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Iberia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Glen Lefler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darrell Curran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 played minutes New Iberia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Máximo Coimbra. 72 minutes into the match, Glen Lefler notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Bartonville's Darrell Curran. Darrell Curran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Glen Lefler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Glen Lefler made a precise shot to the right of Darrell Curran. Bartonville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Darrell Curran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glen Lefler went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the game, Glen Lefler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Darrell Curran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Coulter in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darrell Curran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 98 minutes into the match, Felipe Coulter notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Bartonville's Darrell Curran. Darrell Curran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
