Darrell Curran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanton Ransom was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Fostoria AFC's Ali Mathis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Darrell Curran. That made the score 0-2 after 58 minutes of play. Alfredo Whitley didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bartonville's Wendell Whitfield shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. When Lazaro Ruth came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bartonville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lazaro Ruth couldn't finish the play. Wendell Whitfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Whitley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wendell Whitfield ran back to his position shaking his head. Darrell Curran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Cadena in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wendell Whitfield in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Whitley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th match minute, Bartonville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Kitchen to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th match minute, Fostoria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Cadena to maneuver through the defense. Michael Cadena hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fostoria AFC's Michael Cadena got a free kick in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Lazaro Ruth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Whitley was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Wendell Whitfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bartonville's supporters rose to their feet, but Wendell Whitfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Whitley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Although Bartonville had been in control for most of the match, Fostoria AFC still came away with the win.
