Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 85) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brock Busby got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Titusville's goalkeeper Rhett Perez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Weston Fair. If Brock Busby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Brock Busby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhett Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Shannon Ernst managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Marysville's supporters rose to their feet, but Shannon Ernst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhett Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brock Busby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Brock Busby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhett Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhett Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brock Busby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Weston Fair kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert McClelland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rhett Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weston Fair, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Milan Beasley fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Marysville's protests and gave Milan Beasley a yellow card for diving instead. Milan Beasley hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 77 minutes, Robert McClelland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Titusville and the North Marysville players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Weston Fair came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the North Marysville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weston Fair couldn't finish the play. Titusville's Rhett Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brock Busby in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Titusville booed when North Marysville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jed Bright didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The North Marysville fans cheered their team off the field, for while Titusville had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
