Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Parker Yu kicked off to start the match. A collision led to ValldHebron getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ryan Buck hit a great ball. Palmer Cassidy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wendell Whitfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Lazaro Ruth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Palmer Cassidy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bartonville's Randy Bynum got a free kick in the 9th minute. Bartonville's Darrell Curran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Bartonville from getting a goal against them. Lorenzo Naylor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Darrell Curran came out and tried to block the shot, but Lorenzo Naylor slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaiah Byers got free with Darrell Curran in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Darrell Curran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Parker Yu in the 26th minute of the match. Parker Yu might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darrell Curran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Parker Yu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute, Stanton Sellers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartonville's Darrell Curran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Bartonville from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Darrell Curran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Bartonville's Darrell Curran got control of the ball when Lorenzo Naylor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Bartonville's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Tucker came free, but Darrell Curran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Bartonville got a freekick which was hit by Dallas Kearns. Cory Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Parker Yu succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 47th minute, Bartonville's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cory Abel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Lazaro Ruth made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ValldHebron's Asher Washington got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lazaro Ruth, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Palmer Cassidy made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Wendell Whitfield sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the game, Wendell Whitfield recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Palmer Cassidy. Wendell Whitfield showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After having played for 71 minutes, Wendell Whitfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bartonville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wendell Whitfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Wendell Whitfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ValldHebron's Palmer Cassidy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Bartonville's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Abel came free, but Darrell Curran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ValldHebron's Palmer Cassidy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazaro Ruth in the 77th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Palmer Cassidy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 80th match minute, Bartonville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randy Bynum to maneuver through the defense. When ValldHebron's Cory Abel in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bartonville's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th match minute, Bartonville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanton Sellers to maneuver through the defense. Darrell Curran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parker Yu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darrell Curran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parker Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Cory Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrell Curran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ValldHebron's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
