Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pingyu FC's Julian Nunn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanton Ransom in the 3rd minute of play forced Pingyu FC's goalkeeper Robin Henley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Curt Bergstrom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Whitley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Julian Nunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alfredo Whitley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stanton Ransom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Henley made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ethan Rutherford sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pingyu FC's Darnell Bowling got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ethan Rutherford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Robin Henley made a huge save. Robin Henley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Cadena, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Nunn in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Whitley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Curt Bergstrom took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Whitley. Alfredo Whitley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. With a little luck, Pingyu FC's Robin Henley got control of the ball when Ethan Rutherford tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Nunn scored 1-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Whitley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Mathis got free with Robin Henley in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46thth minute of the game Curt Bergstrom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fostoria AFC's Alfredo Whitley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Curt Bergstrom in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Whitley saved Fostoria AFC from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanton Ransom was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Fostoria AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lyle Browning hit a great ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Curt Bergstrom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fostoria AFC's Alfredo Whitley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stanton Ransom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Henley having to interfere. Ali Mathis's late challenge caught a Pingyu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Mathis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fostoria AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ali Mathis hit a great ball. Robin Henley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanton Ransom in the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fostoria AFC's zone, Curt Bergstrom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Whitley came out of the goal and Curt Bergstrom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Nunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Henley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanton Ransom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fostoria AFC's Oswaldo Burnham got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Michael Cadena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pingyu FC's Julian Nunn in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fostoria AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Pingyu FC booed when Fostoria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanton Ransom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Mathis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Pingyu FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fostoria AFC:s goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
