New Iberia AFC's Ken Denne got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarrod Barnard kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Máximo Coimbra struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Milton Davenport didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Iberia AFC. The crowd rose to their feet as Ken Denne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Milton Davenport. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brock Busby in the 31st minute of play forced New Iberia AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Remicio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, New Iberia AFC's Máximo Coimbra made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milton Davenport was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Coulter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Davenport having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brock Busby was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Julio Bernard managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Iberia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Bernard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milton Davenport breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Milton Davenport showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Coulter in the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shawn Grover during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of New Iberia AFC booed when North Marysville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Grover didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Ken Denne managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Iberia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ken Denne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ken Denne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Coulter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Milton Davenport tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New Iberia AFC had played much better football throughout.
