Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Enoch Holliday took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ken Wray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Rex Pearson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chick-fil-a's zone, Enoch Holliday stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rex Pearson came out of the goal and Enoch Holliday tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the game, Tommie Medley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chick-fil-a's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortland the free kick. A collision led to Chick-fil-a getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Tommie Medley hit a great ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Enoch Holliday managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enoch Holliday was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ken Wray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cortland's supporters rose to their feet, but Ken Wray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rex Pearson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Don Pruett fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chick-fil-a's protests and gave Don Pruett a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chick-fil-a getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Don Pruett hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Ken Wray shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rex Pearson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enoch Holliday might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rex Pearson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enoch Holliday ran back to his position shaking his head. Enoch Holliday struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Rex Pearson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cortland. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob Leslie during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bob Leslie kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Willis Brandon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zane Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rex Pearson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cortland's Enoch Holliday in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chick-fil-a's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Enoch Holliday who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chick-fil-a's Rex Pearson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Cortland's Greg Landis got control of the ball when Willis Brandon tried to sneak it across the goal line.
Enoch Holliday took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rex Pearson. Rex Pearson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With his leg Rex Pearson managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Cortland's Enoch Holliday fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bob Leslie hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Enoch Holliday put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rex Pearson. After a defensive mix-up in Chick-fil-a's zone, Enoch Holliday stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rex Pearson came out of the goal and Enoch Holliday tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rex Pearson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enoch Holliday's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Chick-fil-a's Rex Pearson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Wray in the 89th minute of play. If Enoch Holliday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
