Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 85) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brock Busby made the kick off which started today's match. Weston Fair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Yoder having to interfere. Ty Yoder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brock Busby, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Jeramy Langston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Davenport having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Diego Looney notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of North Marysville's Milton Davenport. Milton Davenport was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Ball fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Davenport having to interfere. Mervin Waddell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Milton Davenport tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Brock Busby rounded Piney's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Looney in the 26th minute of play forced North Marysville's goalkeeper Milton Davenport to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Link charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vince Link the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Weston Fair hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mervin Waddell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Davenport having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Milan Beasley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Marysville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piney the free kick. Milan Beasley kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Milton Davenport showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Looney, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, North Marysville's Shawn Grover got a free kick in the 41st minute. North Marysville's Milton Davenport played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeramy Langston in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeramy Langston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, North Marysville's Milton Davenport got control of the ball when Diego Looney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Looney took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milton Davenport. Milton Davenport dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jed Bright's late challenge caught a Piney's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jed Bright helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, North Marysville's Jed Bright got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Weston Fair fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Marysville's protests and gave Weston Fair a yellow card for diving instead. North Marysville's Jed Bright got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Jed Bright off the ground. After a rather tough play, North Marysville's Jed Bright got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to North Marysville getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jarrett Marcus hit a great ball. Milton Davenport made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Diego Looney sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, North Marysville's goalkeeper Milton Davenport had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Looney. Diego Looney succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 84th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in North Marysville's zone, Diego Looney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milton Davenport came out of the goal and Diego Looney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to North Marysville getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Milan Beasley hit a great ball. Piney's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
