Mckinley Cottrell's late challenge caught a Pingyu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mckinley Cottrell helped the player get up and apologised. Mckinley Cottrell kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Pingyu FC's Elijah Spivey broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Teodoro Chang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cortland's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Chang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Henley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Elijah Spivey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curt Bergstrom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elijah Spivey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greg Landis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Pingyu FC got a freekick which was hit by Curt Bergstrom. After a rather tough play, Pingyu FC's Connor Amos got a free kick in the 28th minute. Elijah Spivey hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Darnell Bowling made a precise shot to the right of Greg Landis. Cortland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Robin Henley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enoch Holliday, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pingyu FC's Elijah Spivey got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pingyu FC's Curt Bergstrom got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enoch Holliday to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Curt Bergstrom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greg Landis. Cortland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Curt Bergstrom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Greg Landis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curt Bergstrom in the 67th minute of play. Greg Landis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elijah Spivey went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Laurence Zamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teodoro Chang fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cortland's protests and gave Teodoro Chang a yellow card for diving instead. Teodoro Chang hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Robin Henley came out and tried to block the shot, but Enoch Holliday slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pingyu FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cortland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
