When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Jeffrey Ortega took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rhett Perez to make any attempt to save it. The New Iberia AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Titusville were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sterling McCain to strike the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Juarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Bowser having to interfere. If Robert McClelland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terrence Westbrook hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a little luck, New Iberia AFC's Joe Bowser got control of the ball when Charlie Montano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert McClelland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert McClelland got free with Joe Bowser in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scotty Whaley in the 76th minute of play forced Titusville's goalkeeper Rhett Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Juarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joe Bowser having to make a save. Robert McClelland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Joe Bowser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Bowser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Juarez in the 93rd minute. Rhett Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Ortega, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. New Iberia AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Titusville had controlled the match.
